In Seven Months...

...I'll look like this again!

Steve and I are happy to announce that we're expecting baby #2 at the end of the summer! Grace is, of course, thrilled to be a big sister and is helping mommy out by taking two very nice naps during the day, during which I take a nap (or two) as well. Make that three, once daddy comes home. Or four, if you count the time on the couch after Grace goes to bed a night and before I make it up the stairs...


My first doctor appointment is on Monday, so there will be more news to share next week.





Is it possible to have another baby as adorable as this?? (I think so!)

Nine Months

Grace Olivia is so much fun! She's crawling like a pro, pulls herself up to stand, eats many solid foods (bananas still being her favorite), plays pattycake and peek-a-boo, dances, turns the pages in her book, babbles incessantly, sometimes wants to be permanently attached to her momma, and is still charming everyone she meets. She also is a lover of bath time, whether it be in the tub or in the kitchen sink--

I'd love to post a bit about her first Christmas and our family trip to Tennessee over New Years, as well as the new Deterding family homestead, so I'll get to all of that as soon as possible.
